The fourth commandment is to remember the Sabbath. There is not one scripture in the entire Bible changing the Sabbath to Sunday. Its a sign of God's authority He chose the day. Luke 11:13 God gives His Spirit only to those who have demonstrated in attitude and behavior that they have repented. Then they must be baptized and obey His commandments. No one who continues to live a lifestyle apart from God's law has received the Spirit of God or has the power of God working in him. 777 Thus the Sabbath is the sign of a relationship between God and His people, serving as "a test of their loyalty to Him" Yeshua is the LORD of the Sabbath These elements are found in the Sabbath commandment. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yeshua. The mark of God is a sign of protection over God's people. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 1. Ex. 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between you and me throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctifies you. Deuteronomy 6:4-94 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates. Exodus 13: -10 6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord. 9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes , that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year. And LORD YEHOVAH said to him: “Go through within the city, within Jerusalem, and make a mark on the forehead of the men who groan and are tormented because of all the abominations and the evils that are done within her” What is the seal of the gift of the Holy Spirit? The seal of the Holy Spirit is God's means of protecting the believer. The Holy Spirit is God's seal of protection over the believer's life. Under this sacred seal, no man, demon, or any other thing can wrest the Christian from the secure position he has in Christ Yeshua. The seal represents the certainty that we receive from the Holy Spirit. Despite what our emotions tell us, despite what the lies of the enemy tell us, and despite what our own human reasoning tells us, we know that we belong to God because of the Holy Spirit, the seal of the promise of salvation. “When you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. he will guide you into all the truth, my life belongs to Him.” I must turn away from evil. Those who receive God's seal upon their foreheads are "God's commandment-keeping people." If you do the things God hates and refuse to keep His commandments and encourage others to do the same, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” NOT THE MARK OF GOD “YEHOVAH”

Pe baech chi'n disgrifio personoliaeth Yeshua i rywun, pa ansoddeiriau fyddech chi'n eu defnyddio? Meddyliwch am rai yn eich pen, a byddaf yn rhannu gyda chi y rhai cyntaf a ddaeth i fy meddwl. Y tair nodwedd a ddaeth i'm meddwl ar unwaith oedd : MYND, MADDAU, a CARIAD. Fy dyfalu yw bod y rhan fwyaf ohonoch yn meddwl am Yeshua mewn termau tebyg hefyd. Pan ddes i ddiwedd pennod 10 yn Matthew, fodd bynnag, cefais bortread gwahanol iawn o Yeshua. Ar ôl darllen yr adran hon, nid yw llawer o bobl, nes darllen yr adran benodol hon yn Matthew, yn gwybod yr ochr hon i Yeshua. Ac os ydym yn ymwybodol o'r ochr hon i Yeshua, rydym yn aml yn dewis anghofio amdano. Rydym yn awyddus i glywed sut mae Yeshua yn caru Ei elynion, yn maddau i buteiniaid, yn cyffwrdd â gwahangleifion, ac yn bwydo'r newynog, ond dyna ni. Yr Yeshua a welwn ym mhennod 10, adnodau 34-39 - yr Yeshua hwn, a dweud y gwir, yw'r un nad oes neb eisiau ei wybod. Mae'n dal dim byd yn ôl yma. "Peidiwch â meddwl mai i ddwyn heddwch ar y ddaear y daethum; ni ddaethum i ddwyn heddwch, ond cleddyf" (adn.34). Am ddatganiad ysgytwol! Yeshua "ni ddaeth i ddwyn heddwch, ond cleddyf"? Pam fyddai Ef yn dweud y fath beth? Yr hyn y mae Yeshua yn ei wneud yma yw ei fod yn cywiro rhagdybiaethau ffug ynghylch beth oedd cenhadaeth y Meseia Iddewig. Yn ôl Eseia 9:5-7, disgrifir y Meseia fel “Tywysog Tangnefedd”. Paul warned against using self-denial “Wherefore if you be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are you subject to ordinances, (touch not; taste not; handle not; which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Rhybuddiodd Paul yn erbyn defnyddio hunan-ymwadiad fel arf i ddibynnu ar eich ewyllys eich hun. Fe’i galwodd yn “bydd yn addoli.” “Felly, os ydych wedi marw gyda Christ o elfennau'r byd, pam,fel petaech yn byw yn y byd, a ydych chwi yn ddarostyngedig i ordinhadau, (na chyffyrddwch; na flaswch; na thriniwch; y rhai sydd oll i ddifethir trwy ddefnyddio;) yn ôl gorchmynion ac athrawiaethau dynion? Y mae gan y pethau hynny yn wir ddangosiad o ddoethineb mewn ewyllys addoli, a gostyngeiddrwydd, ac esgeuluso’r corff: nid mewn unrhyw anrhydedd i foddhad y cnawd” (Colosiaid 2:20-23). Mae pobl YEHOFAH yn ymostwng trwy ymprydiau er mwyn dod yn nes ato -- fel y gallant ddysgu meddwl a gweithredu fel Ef -- fel y gallant fyw ei ffordd o fyw ym mhob peth. Sylwch beth ysgrifennodd y proffwyd Jeremeia:“Dyma mae'r ARGLWYDD yn ei ddweud: ‘Paid â gadael i'r doeth ogoniant yn ei ddoethineb, ac na ogoniant i'r nerthol yn ei gadernid, nac ymffrostied y cyfoethog yn ei gyfoeth: eithr yr hwn sydd yn ymogoneddu yn hyn, y mae efe yn fy neall ac yn fy adnabod i, mai myfi yw yr ARGLWYDD, yr hwn sydd yn gwneuthur cariad , barn, a chyfiawnder, ar y ddaear: canys yn y pethau hyn yr wyf yn ymhyfrydu, medd yr ARGLWYDD” (9:23-24). Mae ymprydio (a gweddi) yn helpu Cristnogion i ddod yn nes at YEHOFAH Dduw. Ffieidd-dra Paganaidd Wedi'i Guddio fel Cristnogaeth! Nid yw YEHOFAH Duw yn awdur dryswch (I Corinthiaid 14:33).Ni sefydlodd y Garawys erioed, sef defodau paganaidd cysylltu llanastr ag atgyfodiad tybiedig Meseia ffug. (Gwledd Tammuz) YR ARGLWYDD Mae Duw yn gorchymyn i'w bobl ei ddilyn - nid traddodiadau dynion. Y mae ffyrdd YEHOFAH yn uwch, yn well na rhai dyn (Eseia 55:8-9).Ni all dynion benderfynu drostynt eu hunain da a drwg, na sut i addoli'r ARGLWYDD Dduw yn iawn. Pam? Oherwydd bod “y galon [meddwl] yn dwyllodrus uwchlaw pob peth, ac yn ddirfawr ddrwg” (Jeremeia 17:9), ac “nid yw ffordd dyn ynddo’i hun; nid mewn dyn sy’n cerdded i gyfarwyddo ei gamau ei hun” (10:23). YEHOFAH Duw a'n cynlluniodd ni ac a roddodd fywyd inni. Mae'n gwybod sut rydyn ni i fod i'w addoli. I fod yn Gristion a gwasanaethu’r ARGLWYDD Dduw yn iawn, rhaid i chi fyw “trwy bob gair sy’n dod allan o enau Duw” (Mathew 4:4), gan gydnabod “na ellir torri” Ei Ysgrythurau sanctaidd “(Ioan 10:35). YEHOFAH Mae Duw yn gorchymyn i Gristnogion ffoi oddi wrth draddodiadau ac arferion paganaidd y byd hwn (Datguddiad 18:2-4), yn cael ei arwain a’i dwyllo ar hyn o bryd gan Satan y diafol (II Corinthiaid 4:4; Datguddiad 12:9). Gall y Garawys ymddangos fel defodau crefyddol didwyll, didwyll. Ond y mae wedi ei wreiddio yn ddwfn mewn syniadau paganaidd sydd yn ffugio cynllun YEHOFAH. YEHOFAH Mae Duw yn casáu pob defodau paganaidd (Jeremeia 10:2-3; Lefiticus 18:3, 30; Deuteronomium 7:1-5, 16). Ni allant gael eu “Cristnogol” na’u glanhau gan ddynion. Mae hynny’n cynnwys y Garawys. Os wyt ti'n Gristion cywir fe ddywedi gyda Dafydd -- “Trwy dy orchmynion di y caf ddeall: am hynny yr wyf yn casáu pob camwedd”! (Salm 119:104). Yn fyw gyda Christ (Effesiaid 2:1-10 ) 6 Felly, yn union fel y derbyniasoch Grist Iesu yn Arglwydd, parhewch i rodio ynddo Ef,7 gwreiddio ac wedi ei adeiladu i fyny ynddo Ef, wedi ei sefydlu yn y ffydd fel y'th ddysgwyd, ac yn orlawn o ddiolchgarwch. 8 Sylwch nad oes neb yn eich caethiwo trwy athroniaeth a thwyll gwag,sy'n seiliedig ar draddodiad dynol a'r grymoedd ysbrydolo'r byd yn hytrach nag ar Grist. 9 Ar gyfer yng Nghrist y mae holl gyflawnder y Duwdod yn trigo mewn ffurf gorfforol.10 Ac cyflawnwyd chwi yng Nghrist, yr hwn sydd ben ar bob llywodraethwr ac awdurdod. 11 Yn Ef hefyd y'ch enwaedwyd, trwy atal eich natur bechadurus, gyda'r enwaediad a gyflawnir gan Grist ac nid gan ddwylo dynol.12 Ac wedi eich claddu gydag Ef yn y bedydd, fe'ch cyfodwyd gydag Ef trwy eich ffydd yn nerth Duw, yr hwn a'i cyfododd Ef oddi wrth y meirw. 13 Pryd buost yn feirw yn eich camweddau ac yn nienwaediad eich natur bechadurus, gwnaeth Duw chwi yn fyw gyda Christ. Pan ddaw rhywun allan o'r dŵr, gwaredir eich holl bechodau, a byddwch yn derbyn rhodd yr Ysbryd Glân. Bydd yn eich dysgu ac yn eich helpu i ddilyn cyfraith Duw. Mae'r adnodau nesaf yn eich profi Ni allwch dderbyn yr ysbryd oni bai eich bod yn wirioneddol edifeiriol, peidiwch â phechu a throi'n ôl at Torah yr ARGLWYDD. Mae pechod yn drosedd o'r gyfraith. Ioan 3:5 “Yn wir, yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, oni chaiff rhywun ei eni eto, ni all weld teyrnas Dduw.” 4 Dywedodd Nicodemus wrtho, “Sut y gall dyn gael ei eni pan fydd yn hen? A all efe fynd i mewn i groth ei fam eilwaith a chael ei eni?” 5 Atebodd Iesu, “Yn wir, yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, oni chaiff un ei eni o ddŵr a'r Ysbryd, ni chaiff fynd i mewn i deyrnas Dduw. 6 Yr hyn a aned o'r cnawd sydd gnawd, a'r hyn a aned o'r Ysbryd, sydd ysbryd. 7 Paid â rhyfeddu imi ddweud wrthych, 'Y mae'n rhaid eich geni chwi drachefn.' 8 Y mae'r gwynt yn chwythu lle y mynno, ac yr wyt yn clywed ei swn, ond ni wyddost o ble y mae'n dod nac i ble y mae'n mynd. Felly, y mae gyda phawb sydd wedi eu geni o’r Ysbryd.” Mathew 3:1 Yn y dyddiau hynny y daeth Ioan Fedyddiwr, gan bregethu yn anialwch Jwdea 2 gan ddweud, “Edifarhewch, oherwydd y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn agos.” Ioan 3:22 Wedi’r pethau hyn daeth yr Iesu a’i ddisgyblion i wlad Jwdea, ac yno yr oedd efe yn treulio amser gyda hwynt ac yn bedyddio. 23 Yr oedd Ioan hefyd yn bedyddio yn Aenon, ger Salim, am fod llawer o ddu373?r yno; a phobl rydyn ni'n dod ac yn cael eu bedyddio - Mathew 4:17 O’r pryd hwnnw y dechreuodd Yeshua bregethu, “Edifarhewch, oherwydd y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn agos.” Actau 2:37 Pan glywodd y bobl hyn, torrwyd hwy yn eu calon a gofyn i Pedr a’r apostolion eraill, “Frodyr, beth a wnawn ni?” 38 Atebodd Pedr, “Edifarhewch, a bedyddier bob un ohonoch, yn enw Yeshua Meseia er maddeuant eich pechodau, a byddwch yn derbyn rhodd yr Ysbryd Glân. 39 Mae'r addewid hon yn eiddo i ti ac i'th blant, ac i bawb o bell, i bawb y bydd yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw yn eu galw ato ei hun.” …40 Gyda llawer o eiriau eraill y tystiodd, ac anogodd hwy, “Byddwch achubol rhag y genhedlaeth lygredig hon.” 41 Bedyddiwyd y rhai oedd yn cofleidio ei genadwri ef, ac ychwanegwyd tua thair mil at y credinwyr y diwrnod hwnnw. 47 Yn moli Duw ac yn mwynhau ffafr yr holl bobl. Ac yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD yn ychwanegu at eu rhif beunydd y rhai sy'n cael eu hachub. Yn yr un modd, mae Paul yn dysgu dynion Athen: Actau 17:30 Yn wir, yr amseroedd hyn o anwybodaeth a edrychodd Duw arnynt, ond yn awr y mae yn gorchymyn i bawb ym mhob man edifarhau, oherwydd y mae wedi penodi dydd i farnu'r byd mewn cyfiawnder, trwy'r Gŵr a ordeiniwyd ganddo. Mae wedi rhoi sicrwydd o hyn i bawb trwy ei gyfodi Ef oddi wrth y meirw. Mathew 3:16 Wedi ei fedyddio, Iesu a ddaeth i fyny yn ebrwydd o’r dwfr; ac wele, y nefoedd a agorwyd iddo, a gwelodd Ysbryd Duw yn disgyn fel colomen ac yn disgyn arno. 17 Ac yn ddisymwth y daeth llais o'r nef, yn dywedyd, Hwn yw fy Mab annwyl, yr hwn yr wyf yn ymhyfrydu ynddo.” Mark 1:15 Yeshua geiriau yn dod ar ffurf gorchymyn brys: "Mae'r amser yn cael ei gyflawni, ac yn y deyrnas Dduw yn agos. Edifarhewch, a chredwch yn yr efengyl." Nid yn unig y daw Crist i gyhoeddi Teyrnas Dduw sydd ar ddod, yn arbennig i’r rhai y mae Duw yn eu galw (Ioan 6:44), ond hefyd i baratoi’r etholedigion ar gyfer eu cyfrifoldebau ysbrydol yn awr ac yn y Deyrnas. Yr Ysbryd Glan a Dderbyniwyd yn Ephesus Actau 19:4 Eglurodd Paul: “Bedydd edifeirwch oedd bedydd Ioan. Dywedodd wrth y bobl am gredu yn yr Un oedd yn dod ar ei ôl, hynny yw, yn Yeshua.” 5 Wedi clywed hyn, fe'u bedyddiwyd yn enw'r Yeshua Meseia. 6 A phan osododd Paul ei ddwylo arnynt, daeth yr Ysbryd Glân arnynt, a hwy a lefarasant â thafodau, ac a broffwydasant. … Bedydd Saul Actau 9:15 Ond dywedodd yr Arglwydd wrtho, “Dos! Oherwydd y dyn hwn yw fy offeryn dewisol i gymryd fy enw i'r Cenhedloedd, brenhinoedd, a'r Israeliaid. 16 Fe ddangosaf iddo faint y mae'n rhaid iddo ei ddioddef er mwyn fy enw i!” 17 Felly gadawodd Ananias a mynd i mewn i'r tŷ. Yna gosododd ei ddwylo arno a dweud, “Y brawd Saul, yr Arglwydd Yeshua, yr hwn a ymddangosodd iti ar y ffordd yr oeddech yn ei theithio, a'm hanfonodd i adennill dy olwg, a chael dy lenwi â'r Ysbryd Glân.” 18 Ar unwaith syrthiodd rhywbeth tebyg i glorian oddiar ei lygaid, ac adenillodd ei olwg. Yna cododd a chafodd ei fedyddio. 19 Ac wedi cymmeryd peth ymborth, efe a adennill ei nerth. Philip a'r Eunuch o Ethiopia Actau: 8:34 A dywedodd yr eunuch wrth Philip, "Am bwy, yr wyf yn gofyn i ti, y mae'r proffwyd yn dweud hyn, amdano'i hun neu am rywun arall?" 35 Yna Philip a agorodd ei enau, a chan ddechrau â'r Ysgrythur hon efe a fynegodd iddo y newyddion da am Iesua. 36 Ac wrth fynd ar hyd y ffordd daethant at ddŵr, a dywedodd yr eunuch, “Dyma ddŵr! Beth sy'n fy atal rhag cael fy medyddio?” 38 Ac efe a orchmynnodd i'r cerbyd atal, a hwy ill dau a aethant i waered i'r dwfr, Philip a'r eunuch, ac efe a'i bedyddiodd ef. 39 A phan ddaethant i fyny o'r dwfr, Ysbryd yr Arglwydd a ddug Philip ymaith, ac ni welodd yr eunuch ef mwyach, ac a aeth ar ei ffordd yn llawen. 40 Eithr Philip a'i cafodd ei hun yn Asotus, ac wrth fyned trwodd efe a bregethodd yr efengyl i'r holl drefi, hyd oni ddaeth i Cesarea.

As you read in the verses Paul makes it clear also, if you are led by the spirit you are not under the law, (Keeping this in mind sin is transgression of the law.) So, if you are not keeping Yehovah laws and statutes you are under the law, because there is no law against keeping His laws. A. How You Get In vs. How You Walk Paul’s Focus: Paul was dealing with a massive crisis: institutional religious leaders were telling Gentile converts that they couldn't be saved unless they underwent ritual circumcision and converted to Judaism before trusting in Yeshua (Acts 15:1). Paul fought this fiercely. He argued that a person is justified (cleared of their past guilt) by faith in Yeshua's sacrifice, not by their own track record of keeping the law. You cannot earn your way out of past sins. Yeshua’s Focus: Yeshua was speaking to people who already knew the Torah but were faking it. He focused on how a saved person walks. Once you are in the covenant by faith, obedience is the fruit of your love for Him. B. "Works of the Law" vs. "The Commandments" When Paul uses the phrase "works of the law" (especially in Galatians and Romans), he isn't talking about God's Ten Commandments or the Sabbath. In the first-century Hebrew mind, "works of the law" (ma'asei ha-torah) referred to man-made religious decrees, traditional conversion rituals, and legalistic checklists used to separate Jews from Gentiles. Paul fought man-made legalism, but he loved God’s literal law. He explicitly wrote: "The law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good" (Romans 7:12). C. The Target: The Great Harlot's Loophole The institutional church system (the "Great Harlot") took Paul's complex arguments about Gentile inclusion and twisted them into a license for lawlessness . They used Paul to create a loophole to throw out the Sabbath, ignore the dietary laws, and abandon the appointed feasts—the exact opposite of how Yeshua lived. If Paul actually taught that the Sabbath was abolished or that God's food laws didn't matter, he would have been a false prophet according to Deuteronomy 13. But Paul defended himself against that exact accusation in a Roman court: "I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets." — Acts 24:14 The Verdict The difference is not that Yeshua said "Obey" and Paul said "Don't." The truth is that Yeshua is the Standard, and Paul is the Commentary. Yeshua showed us what the perfect walk looks like. Paul explained how the rest of the world (the Gentiles) could be grafted into that exact same olive tree through faith (Romans 11). If anyone interprets Paul in a way that contradicts the clear, commandment-keeping lifestyle of Yeshua, they are doing exactly what Peter warned against: twisting Paul’s words into the error of the lawless. In 2 Peter 3:15-16, Peter refers to Paul as a "beloved brother" who wrote with wisdom given to him. Peter acknowledges that some of Paul's writings are hard to understand, noting that ignorant and unstable people twist them—along with "other Scriptures"—to their own destruction God righteousness is His Torah When we read The Torah keep in mind there is a difference between Gods law and the works of the law mans law .CONCLUSIONS The “no-law” doctrine has taken Paul’s “hard to understand writings They interpret the works of the law which is the oral law of the Jews to mean that the laws of God given through Moses are no more, and in so doing, have elevated Paul’s teachings above the teaching of Yeshua and the very words of God. The filter that should be used is that God does not change, He is not a God of confusion, He doesn't lie, or that scripture cannot be broken, and it is the whole duty of m an to keep all His commandments . The decrees of Yehovah are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of Yehovah are right, bringing joy to the heart . The commands of Yehovah are clear, giving insight into living. Reverence for Yehovah is pure, lasting forever. The laws of Yehovah are true; each one is fair. T hey are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb. They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them. Psalm 19:7 The one who belongs listens and responds to Yehovah's words. If you don't listen and respond , it is because you don't belong to Yehovah." John 8:47 In 321 A.D., the “Christianized” Roman Emperor Constantine declared Sunday a day of rest, although it was in honor of the “venerable day of the sun,” hence the name of the day, not of the traditional Sabbath. Meddai Paul: Corinthiaid 11:1 Efelychwch fi, yn union fel yr wyf fi hefyd yn efelychu Crist. Deuteronomium 7:9 Gwybydd gan hynny mai yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW sydd DDUW, y Duw ffyddlon sy’n cadw cyfamod a chariad diysgog â’r rhai sy’n ei garu ac yn cadw ei orchmynion, hyd fil o genedlaethau. Rhufeiniaid 2:13 “Oherwydd nid yw gwrandawyr y Gyfraith yn gyfiawn yng ngolwg yr ARGLWYDD, ond bydd gwneuthurwyr y Gyfraith yn cael eu cyfiawnhau.” Deuteronomium 4:8 A pha genedl sydd mor fawr, a chanddi ddeddfau a barnedigaethau mor gyfiawn â’r holl gyfraith hon, yr hon a osodais ger eich bron heddiw? Pagan Christmas How This Pagan Custom Got into the Church The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge explains clearly, in its article on "Christmas": "How much the date of the festival depended upon the pagan Brumalia (Dec. 25) following the Saturnalia (Dec. 17-24), and celebrating the shortest day in the year and the 'new sun,’. December 25th is not the birthday of Yeshua the true Christ! The apostles and early true Church never celebrated Christ's birthday at any time. There is no command or instruction to celebrate it in the Bible—rather, the celebration of birthdays is a pagan, not a Christian custom , believe it or not, the pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner. Christian preachers of the West and the Near East protested the unseemly frivolity with which Christ's birthday was celebrated, while Christians of Mesopotamia accused their Western brethren of idolatry and sun worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival but remember, these people had grown up in pagan customs, chief of which was this idolatrous festival of December 25th. It was a festival of merrymaking, with its special spirit. They enjoyed it! They didn't want to give it up! Now this same article in the New Schaff- Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge Explains how the recognition by Constantine of Sunday, which had been the day of pagan sun worship, and how the influence of the pagan Manichaeism, which identified the SON of God with the physical SUN, gave these pagans of the fourth century, now turning over wholesale to "Christianity," their excuse for calling their pagan festival date of December 25th (birthday of the SUN-god) the birthday of the SON of God. And that is how "Christmas" became fastened on our Western world! We may call it by another name, but it's the same old pagan sun-worshipping festival still! ."The Real Origin of Christmas but if we got Christmas from the Roman Catholics, and they got it from paganism, where did the pagans get it? Where, when, and what was its real origin? It is a chief custom of the corrupt system denounced all through Bible prophecies and teachings under the name of Babylon. And it started and originated in the original Babylon of ancient Nimrod! She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree. We are shocked to learn the truth—some, unfortunately, take offense at the plain truth! But God commands His faithful ministers, "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression! 22 Then the Yehovah said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: 23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold. Exodus 20:22 Psalm 81:12 So I let them follow their stubborn desires, living according to their own ideas. There is no mention that any of them were Kings. The wise men found the king of the Jews when he was around 2 years old. The Bible does mention not to bring an evergreen tree into your home and decorate it Mary and Joseph were not required to travel in the winter Yehovah says a lying tongue is the second on His list that He hates most. Everything about Christmas is pagan, Pat Robertson admits to the fully pagan origins of Christmas and defends celebrating the Christianized pagan holiday ● Jeremiah 10:2 Thus says the LORD, "Do not learn the way of the nations, and do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens though the nations are terrified by them; 3 For the customs of the peoples are delusion; Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. 4"They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers So that it will not totter.… I have come to believe that nothing can be said to change one’s mind about Christmas. The music, gifts, food, and festive events outweigh the true meaning of Yeshua’s birth, this event trumps Yehovah. If you really want to celebrate His birth, then don't do it on the pagan sun god’s birthday on December 25th. This is what we find in the Bible. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death!" John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Deuteronomy 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto Jehovah thy God: for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters do they burn in the fire to their gods. ● Matthew 15:9 "In vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" John 4:23 The true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. He will not accept that kind of worship, even though it is intended in His honor. To Him, He says, it is offering what is abominable to Him, and therefore it honors, not Him, but false pagan gods. GOD says we must not worship Him according to the "dictates of our conscience"—a term we often hear. Does It Honor Christ? Suppose someone you love has a birthday. You want to honor that person on his or her birthday. Would you lavishly buy gifts for everyone else, trading gifts back and forth with all your other friends and loved ones, but ignore completely any gift for the one whose birthday you are honoring? Now come two arguments often used to justify Christmas observance. Many will reason this way: "But, even though the exact date of Yeshua's birth is unknown, should we not select some date to celebrate as His birthday?" The answer is positively no! Did you not notice the statement quoted from the Catholic Encyclopedia? "Sinners alone, not saints, celebrate their birthdays." The celebration of birthdays is not a Christian, but a pagan custom, observed by sinners! But many still say, "Even so—even though Christmas was a pagan custom, honoring the false sun-god, we don't observe it to honor the false god, we observe it to honor Christ." But how does GOD answer in His Word? "Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them [the pagans in their customs] . . . that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, how did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise? Thou shalt not do so unto the Yehovah thy God: for every abomination to the Eternal, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods" But Yeshua says plainly, "Yehovah is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24). And what is truth? Yehovah’s Word—the Holy Bible—says Yeshua, is truth (John 17:17); and the Bible says Yehovah will not accept worship when people take a pagan custom or manner of worship and try to honor Christ with it. Again, Yeshua said: "In vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matthew 15:9). Christmas observance is a tradition of men, and the commandments of Yehovah, as quoted, forbid it. Yeshua said, further, "Full well ye reject the commandment of Yehovah, that ye may keep your tradition." That is precisely what the millions are doing today. They ignore the commandment of Yehovah He commands, regarding taking the customs of the pagans and using them to honor or worship Yehovah: "Thou shalt not do so unto the Yehovah thy God." Still, most people today take that command of Yehovah lightly, or as having no validity whatsoever, and follow the tradition of men in observing Christmas. Make no mistake! Yehovah will allow you to defy and disobey Him. He will allow you to follow the crowd and the traditions of men. He will allow you to sin. But He also says there is a day of reckoning coming. As you sow, so shall you reap! Yeshua was the living Word of Yehovah in person, and the Bible is the written Word of Yehovah. And we shall be judged, for eternity, by these words! They should not be taken lightly or ignored. What Encyclopedias Say The word "Christmas" means "Mass of Christ," or, as it came to be shortened, "Christ-Mass." It came from the Roman /Catholic Church. Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church In the Scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a great banquet on His birthday. These recognized historical authorities show Christmas was not observed by Christians for the first two or three hundred years—a period longer than the entire history of the United States as a nation! In the fifth century, the Western Church ordered it to be celebrated forever on the day of the old Roman feast of the birth of Sol, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ's birth existed." Sol Invictus ("Unconquered Sun") was the official sun god of the later Roman Empire and a patron of soldiers. In 274 AD the Roman emperor Aurelian made it an official cult alongside the traditional Roman cults. God forbids pagan feast days idolater, a person that admires intensely and often blindly one that is not usually a subject of worship. Idolatry is the worship of an idol or cult image, being a physical image, such as a statue, Every year, the priest of Ishtar would impregnate young virgins on an altar. The children were born on Christmas and the next year they were sacrificed at the Easter Sunday sunrise service. The priest would take Ishtar’s eggs and dye them in the blood of the sacrificed children. This was observed around 2000 years before Christ was born. 'You shall not give any of your offspring to offer them to Moloch, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am Yehovah. Leviticus 18:21 21. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Yehovah your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected by children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. Exodus 20: 5 Do Not Be Unequally Yoked …16 What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” 17“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 2 Cor 6:1717 The Sovereignty of God 1 Hear the word that the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel. 2 This is what the LORD says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by the signs in the heavens, although the nations are terrified by them. 3 For the customs of the people are worthless; they cut down a tree from the forest; it is shaped with a chisel by the hands of a craftsman…4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they faste n it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. How Can Celebrate Easter Anger God? Now that we have just gone through the roots of easter the question remains, “How does celebrating easter anger God?” There is no doubt that the holiday has pagan roots which the LORD detests. Throughout the Old Testament, we see the LORD’s reaction to Israel’s constant falling away into idol worship and pagan practices. We are not much different than the Israelites. Why should we expect a different reaction from Abba? The Word says that God is a jealous God who does not tolerate idolatry. And even if you celebrate Easter with Jesus in mind, God does not receive this! Why? Because it’s a strange fire! Following a holiday with pagan roots , symbols, and meanings and then claiming it in honor of God is an abomination! Here is the clean, definitive Simple Test for identifying whether your home, calendar, and physical habits are in alignment with the Torah of Yehovah, or if you are active in the sin of syncretism—mixing the holy commands of God with the profane traditions of the world. ⚖️ The Simple Test: Sinning Against God (Syncretism Check) Instructions: Answer these 10 direct, binary (Yes/No) questions honestly before the Creator. Question 1: The Origin of the Winter Tree The Scriptural Law: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles... for one cuts a tree from the forest... They decorate it with silver and gold...” (Jeremiah 10:2-4). The Question: When the winter season arrives, do you bring a decorated evergreen tree into your property, or do you banish this custom because it imitates the historic winter-solstice practices of the nations? [ ] YES (I obey God): You refuse to bring a winter tree into your home, treating the custom as a futile practice rooted in ancient solar idolatry. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You continue to set up, decorate, or participate around the tree, claiming "it represents Jesus to me." Question 2: The Sunrise Worship Timing The Scriptural Law: “...with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.” (Ezekiel 8:16). The Question: Do you participate in traditional "Sunrise Services" on the spring equinox calendar, a practice historically dedicated to the dawn and spring deities of the nations? [ ] YES (I obey God): You reject the custom, recognizing that the Father explicitly calls solar-aligned worship timing an abomination. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You attend or defend these services because mainstream church culture has assigned a biblical meaning to them. Question 3: The Vocabulary of the Tongue The Scriptural Law: “And make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth.” (Exodus 23:13). The Question: Do you actively scrub the terminology of the nations from your lips when discussing holy things—such as refusing to call the celebration of the Master's resurrection by the name of a Germanic spring goddess (Easter)? [ ] YES (I obey God): You call His days what the Scriptures call them: Pesach (Passover) and Yom HaBikkurim (Firstfruits). [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You continue to use pagan-rooted names for holy realities because it is easier and more socially acceptable. Question 4: The Altar of Your Appetite The Scriptural Law: “Eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse, shall be consumed together,’ says the Lord.” (Isaiah 66:17). The Question: When you select what to put into your body, does the written Law of Leviticus 11 hold total veto power over your appetite, your cravings, and your social comfort? [ ] YES (I obey God): You strictly observe the dietary boundaries, treating your body as a clean, set-apart living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You consume pork, shellfish, or other unclean things, rationalizing it through modern theology, social convenience, or personal taste. Question 5: The Master of Your Time The Scriptural Law: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy... the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah your God.” (Exodus 20:8-10). The Question: Do you physically cease from your worldly labor, commerce, and buying/selling on the Seventh-Day Sabbath (sunset Friday to sunset Saturday), or do you follow the Sunday tradition of Rome? [ ] YES (I obey God): You guard the Seventh-Day Sabbath as an eternal covenant sign between you and the Father. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You treat the Seventh Day like any other day for work, shopping, or entertainment, preferring man's shifting calendar. Question 6: The Direct Instruction Rule The Scriptural Law: “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.” (Deuteronomy 12:32). The Question: When looking for a way to worship the King, do you stick strictly to the Appointed Times (Moedim) He wrote down, or do you believe human beings have the authority to invent new religious holidays and rituals? [ ] YES (I obey God): You believe the Torah is sufficient and complete; you add no human holidays to His sacred calendar. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You participate in holidays invented by the state of Rome or modern culture, assuming God accepts whatever we offer. Question 7: Purging Sacred Objects from the Home The Scriptural Law: “You shall burn the carved images of their gods with fire... nor take it for yourself, lest you be snared by it; for it is an abomination to Yehovah your God.” (Deuteronomy 7:25). The Question: Do you systematically inspect your home, decorations, and properties to ensure you are not harboring symbols historically tied to ancient fertility cults, solar wheels, or the occult? [ ] YES (I obey God): You purge your household of any physical item that carries a heritage of false worship or worldly customs. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You keep these items around as "art," "decorations," or "antiques," ignoring the spiritual snare attached to them. Question 8: The Hearing of the Ear The Scriptural Law: “He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination.” (Proverbs 28:9). The Question: When the hard, straightforward truth of the Torah cuts across your comfort, your wallet, or your family traditions, how does your ear respond? [ ] YES (I obey God): You humble yourself, undergo the continuous baptism of repentance, and adjust your life immediately to match the Spoken Word. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You look for loop-holes, modern grace excuses, or point to "good intentions," matching the exact description of the nation that refuses to be taught (Jeremiah 7:27). Question 9: The Pressure of the Feast Table The Scriptural Law: “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:21). The Question: If a close family member invites you to a major traditional holiday dinner (like Christmas or Easter) where unclean food is served and pagan-rooted traditions are practiced, do you have the courage to politely decline the invitation to keep your garments clean? [ ] YES (I obey God): You value covenant fidelity above family harmony, refusing to sit at a table that honors a mixed, profane tradition. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You attend anyway to "keep the peace," validating their compromise with your presence. Question 10: The Definition of Faith The Scriptural Law: “But don't just listen to Yehovah’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” (James 1:22). The Question: Is your faith a concrete action of physical submission, consisting of Believing, Committing, and Doing, or is it an intellectual concept wrapped in emotional sentiment? [ ] YES (I obey God): Your faith drives you to physically walk out His commands regarding His Sabbaths, His boundaries, and His instructions. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You claim to have "faith in your heart" while your hands, your diet, and your lifestyle continue to practice the lawless habits of the world around you. 🎯 The Final Scorecard Every YES choice means you are standing with the Remnant who worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). Every NO choice means the flesh is still ruling in that area, and you are active in syncretism—bringing "strange fire" before the altar of the King. “Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods...” — Deuteronomy 12:31 The Satanic Ritual of Sacrificing Children Every year, the priests of Ishtar would impregnate young virgins on an altar dedicated to herself and her husband*. The children were born on Christmas December 25, and the next year they were sacrificed in the Easter's Sunday at the sunrise service. The priests would take Ishtar's eggs and dye them in the blood of the sacrificed children. Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. (Deuteronomy 12:30-31) God is not happy with the way we have mixed pagan practices with His true worship. Celebrating Easter does not honor or please God even if we do it with the right intention. It was never established by God, so why are we so attached to it? Why do we go to great lengths to defend a holiday that angers Abba? Pride perhaps? Or our unbudging stubbornness in tradition? In the words of Paul to the Romans: “But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.” (Romans 11:5) And still, to this day, there is a remnant of followers of The Way who have made the decision not to be contaminated by the world. Who have proposed to follow God no matter the cost, no matter the fire, no matter the cold shoulder. Because being Christian is not easy and less even when you follow the entire truth- the truth that no one wants to acknowledge. Truth is never popular, not even in the church. But be brave brethren. Be humble. At the end of the day, we want God’s approval, not man’s. Will you be part of the remnant? Exodus 12:3-14 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb[a ] for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs, and internal organs. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover. Passover Meal The Last Supper Matthew 17 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” 18 He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” 1 9 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. 20 When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve. 21 And while they were eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.” The Last Supper Mark 12 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” 13 So he sent two of his disciples, telling them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. 14 Say to the owner of the house he enters, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15 He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.” 16 The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. 17 When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve. 18 While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me—one who is eating with me.” The Last Supper Luke 7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. 8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.” 9 “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked. 10 He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, 11 and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.” 13 They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. 14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. 15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Bydd wylofain a rhincian dannedd. The Man of Lawlessness 2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. The Coming of the Lord 13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,d that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.1 Corinthians 15:52 At the last Trumpets the Seventh trumpet. on the east of Trumpets Matthew 24:1–51 Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple 24 Jesus left the temple and was going away when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2 But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” Signs of the End of the Age 3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered them, a “See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you d are not be alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then many will fall away1 and betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom 15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. 19 And b alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short. 23 then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. The Coming of the Son of Man 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then t all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And we will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. The Man of Lawlessness 2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily u nsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed , the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

The good news is that Yehovah ordained Yeshua to announce the coming of His kingdom here on earth. Many would be shocked to find out that the Bible defines the gospel differently than what they have always been told. A thorough reading shows He brought and that the apostles continued to preach. The True Gospel e The spiritual path begins with a direct call from Yeshua: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ” This imperative is the doorway to salvation—a foundational, inward shift away from sin and a fallen world, and a redirection of the heart toward the sovereign authority of God. Matthew 4:17 — “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, ‘Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” Mark 1:15 — “And saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.’” 2. The Doorway: Water Baptism and the Holy Spiri t Following the resurrection and ascension of Yeshua, Peter declared the active steps of covenant entry at Pentecost: turning in repentance, being buried with Messiah in baptism, and receiving divine empowerment through the Spirit. Acts 2:38 — “Then Peter said unto them, ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.’” John 3:5 — “Jesus answered, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.’” 3. The Blood: Grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel By the blood shed on the tree, the dividing wall of hostility was torn down. Nations once alienated from the promises and covenants are brought near and grafted as wild olive branches into the root of Israel. Ephesians 2:12–13 — “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Yesgua messiah ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” Romans 11:17 — “A nd if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree.” 4. The Commission: Gathering Others into the Harvest Salvation is not walked in isolation; a grafted branch bears fruit. Believers are commanded to act as fishers of men and ambassadors, working to gather the lost into the Father’s house before the end. Matthew 28:19–20 — “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” Matthew 9:37–38 — “Then saith he unto his disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.’” Luke 14:23 — “And the lord said unto the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.’” 5. The Perseverance: Holding Fast Until the End The culmination of salvation requires endurance through trials, testing, and persecution. The promise of the eternal crown belongs to those who do not turn back. Matthew 24:13 — “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Hebrews 10:35–36 — “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Revelation 2:25–26 — “But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.” Y Gwir Efengyl Nid oes unman yn yr ysgrythur y mae Yeshua yn dweud bod yr efengyl amdano Ef yn dod i farw dros ein pechodau. Beth a Bregethodd Yeshua? Byddai llawer yn cael sioc o ddarganfod bod y Beibl yn diffinio’r efengyl yn wahanol i’r hyn a ddywedwyd wrthynt erioed. Mae darlleniad trwyadl yn dangos nad yw derbyn gwaed Crist yn daliad o'n pechodau — mor sylfaenol bwysig ag y mae — mewn gwirionedd yn ganolbwynt i'r "newyddion da" a ddygodd Efe ac y parhaodd yr apostolion i bregethu. Yn ogystal â marw dros ein pechodau, daeth Yeshua i'r ddaear fel negesydd oddi wrth yr ARGLWYDD Dad: Y newyddion da yw bod yr ARGLWYDD wedi ordeinio Yeshua i gyhoeddi dyfodiad Ei deyrnas yma ar y ddaear. Ioan 8:38 Yr wyf fi yn siarad am yr hyn a welais gyda fy Nhad, ac yr ydych chwi yn gwneuthur yr hyn a glywsoch gan eich tad.” Ioan 12:49-50 Canys ni leferais ar fy awdurdod fy hun, ond y mae'r Tad a'm hanfonodd ei hun wedi rhoi gorchymyn i mi, beth i'w ddweud a beth i'w lefaru. 50 Ac mi a wn fod ei orchymyn Ef yn fywyd tragywyddol. Yr hyn yr wyf yn ei ddweud, felly, yr wyf yn ei ddweud fel y dywedodd y Tad wrthyf.” Ioan 14:24 Y sawl nad yw'n fy ngharu i, nid yw'n cadw fy ngeiriau. A'r gair yr ydych yn ei glywed, nid eiddof fi, ond y Tadau a'm hanfonodd i. Luc 4:43 Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Rhaid i mi bregethu teyrnas yr ARGLWYDD i'r dinasoedd eraill hefyd, oherwydd i'r diben hwn yr anfonwyd fi." Er bod Yeshua yn bendant yr unigolyn pwysicaf erioed i gerdded y ddaear hon, mae'r Beibl yn dangos yn glir nad oedd yr efengyl a gyflwynwyd gan Yeshua amdano'i Hun yn unig. Darllenwch ei ddatganiadau, a phrofwch hyn drosoch eich hun: Mathew 9:35 Aeth Iesu trwy’r holl drefi a’r pentrefi, gan ddysgu yn eu synagogau hwy, gan bregethu efengyl y deyrnas, ac iacháu pob afiechyd a salwch. 36 Pan welodd efe y tyrfaoedd, tosturiodd wrthynt, am eu bod yn aflonydd ac yn ddiymadferth, fel defaid heb fugail. … Marc 1:14-15 Wedi i Ioan gael ei roi yn y carchar, daeth Iesu i Galilea i bregethu. efengyl teyrnas Dduw, a dywedyd, " Cyflawnwyd yr amser, a theyrnas Dduw sydd yn agos. Edifarhewch, a chredwch yn yr efengyl." 43 Luc 8:1 Wedi hynny, aeth Iesu trwy bob dinas a phentref, gan bregethu a dwyn yr Efengyl am deyrnas Dduw. Luc 16:16 Y gyfraith a’r proffwydi oedd hyd Ioan. Ers hynny mae teyrnas Dduw wedi cael ei phregethu, a phawb yn pwyso i mewn iddi. Mathew 24:14 A haws yw i nef a daear fyned heibio nag i un teitl o’r gyfraith fethu. A bydd yr efengyl hon am y deyrnas yn cael ei phregethu yn yr holl fyd fel tyst i'r holl genhedloedd, ac yna fe ddaw y diwedd. Roedd y cyhoeddiad o “newyddion da”—y newyddion gorau oll a glywyd heddiw—a roddodd y Tad trwy Yeshua, yn ymwneud â sefydlu Ei Deyrnas ar y ddaear. Beth yw teyrnas? Cenedl ydyw yn ei hanfod, gyda'i holl ddinasyddion, ei thir, a'i chyfreithiau, yn cael eu rheoli gan lywodraeth. Mewn defnydd beiblaidd, gall teyrnas hefyd olygu teulu o un rhiant wedi tyfu i fod yn genedl. Mae pedair elfen sylfaenol i deyrnas: brenin, goruch-reolwr, neu asiant llywodraethol; tiriogaeth, gyda'i leoliad penodol a llinellau terfyn pendant; pynciau neu ddinasyddion o fewn yr awdurdodaeth diriogaethol honno; a deddfau a ffurf o lywodraeth trwy ba rai yr arferir ewyllys y lly wodraethwr. Os anwybyddwn unrhyw un o'r elfennau hanfodol hyn - os anwybyddwn y neges a ddaeth gan Yeshua gan y Tad - bydd gennym ffydd ystumiedig, un na fydd yn dod ag iachawdwriaeth. Pwy Fydd Yn Frenin? Does dim dwywaith mai Yeshua fydd Brenin Teyrnas Dduw. Er nad oedd yn arfer unrhyw awdurdod sifil tra ar y ddaear, pan fydd yn dychwelyd, bydd yn "Brenin y brenhinoedd ac Arglwydd yr arglwyddi" I Timotheus 6:15; Datguddiad 19:16; 17:14). Rhagfynegodd proffwydi eraill hefyd am frenin yn dod, nid yn unig o Israel a Jwda, ond hefyd yn ymestyn i'r holl fyd. Mae Eseia yn dweud wrthym: Canys i ni Plentyn a aned, i ni y rhoddir Mab; a bydd y llywodraeth ar ei ysgwydd Ef. A gelwir ei enw Ef Rhyfeddol, Cynghorwr, Duw nerthol, Tad Tragywyddol, Tywysog hedd. Ar gynydd Ei lywodraeth a'i dangnefedd ni bydd diwedd, ar orsedd Dafydd a thros ei deyrnas, i'w threfnu a'i sefydlu â barn a chyfiawnder o'r amser hwnnw ymlaen, hyd byth. Bydd sêl ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd yn gwneud hyn. (Eseia 9:6-7) Ble Bydd y Deyrnas yn cael ei Sefydlu? Anwiredd tra-arglwyddiaethol y mae Satan wedi'i osod ar ddynolryw yw'r gred bod enaid rhywun yn mynd i'r nefoedd ar ôl marwolaeth. Mae llawer o bobl yn tybio bod yr ymadrodd Teyrnas Dduw yn gyfystyr â'r nefoedd, ond mae'r Beibl yn dysgu, pan fydd Yeshua yn dychwelyd, y bydd Teyrnas Dduw yn cael ei sefydlu ar y ddaear! Yn gyntaf, sylwch fel y mae'r Beibl yn llwyr wrthbrofi'r syniad o "fynd i'r nefoedd" ar ôl marwolaeth. Dyma Pedr yn dweud wrth y dyrfa ar ddydd y Pentecost, “Wŷr a chyfeillion, gadewch i mi siarad yn rhwydd wrthych am y patriarch Dafydd, ei fod wedi marw ac wedi ei gladdu, a'i feddrod gyda ni hyd heddiw. .. Ar gyfer Dafydd nid esgynodd i'r nefoedd" (Actau 2:29, 34) Mae hyn yn "dyn ar ôl calon Duw ei hun" Nid yw yn y nefoedd, ond yn dal yn y bedd! Mae ein Gwaredwr yn cadarnhau hyn yn Ioan 3:13: “Nid oes neb wedi esgyn i’r nef ond yr hwn a ddisgynnodd o’r nef, hynny yw, Mab y Dyn yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.” Pregethwr 9:5,10 Mae saint meirw yr Hen Destament a’r Newydd ill dau yn cysgu yn eu beddau, yn aros am yr atgyfodiad – heb ymwybyddiaeth. Job 14: 14-15 Fel hyn y mae Job yn disgrifio aros am yr atgyfodiad: "Os bydd dyn farw, a fydd byw eto? Arosaf holl ddyddiau fy ngwasanaeth caled, hyd nes y daw fy nghyfnewidiad. Byddwch yn galw, a byddaf yn galw." ateb Ti. Datguddiad 5:10, "A gwnaethost hwy yn deyrnas (hil frenhinol) ac yn offeiriaid i'n Duw ni, a hwy a deyrnasant ar y ddaear!" Datguddiad 11:15 Yna y seithfed angel a utganodd: A bu lleisiau uchel yn y nef, yn dywedyd; "Teyrnasoedd y byd hwn a ddaethant yn deyrnasoedd i'n Harglwydd ni a'i Fab Ef, ac efe a deyrnasa byth bythoedd!" Datguddiad 21:21. A gwelais nef newydd a daear newydd, oherwydd yr oedd y nef gyntaf a'r ddaear gyntaf wedi mynd heibio. Hefyd nid oedd mwy o fôr. Yna mi, Ioan, a welais y ddinas sanctaidd, Jerwsalem newydd, yn dod i lawr o'r nef oddi wrth Dduw, wedi ei pharatoi yn briodasferch wedi ei haddurno i'w gŵr. A chlywais lais uchel o'r nef yn dywedyd, Wele, y mae pabell Duw gyda dynion, a bydd yn trigo gyda hwy, a hwythau yn bobl iddo ef. Bydd Duw ei hun gyda hwy, ac yn Dduw iddynt; a bydd Duw yn sychu ymaith bob deigryn oddi wrth eu llygaid; ni bydd mwyach angau, na thristwch, na llefain, ni bydd poen mwyach, oherwydd aeth y pethau blaenorol heibio. … Datguddiad 21:1 Y mae'r un sy'n gorchfygu yn etifeddu pob peth, a minnau a fyddaf iddo ef yn Dduw, ac yntau'n fab i mi.” Pwy yw testunau a dinasyddion y Deyrnas? ddaear, ni fydd pawb ar y ddaear yn ddinesydd o'r Deyrnas honno.Bydd pawb yn ddarostyngedig i Frenin y brenhinoedd, ond ni fydd pawb wedi mynd i mewn i'r Deyrnas ysbrydol honno. Ioan 3:3 Datgelodd Yeshua y gwirionedd hwn i Nicodemus. Pan ddaeth Nicodemus ato yn y nos, dywedodd Yeshua wrtho, "Yn fwyaf sicr, rwy'n dweud wrthych, oni chaiff un ei eni eto, ni all efe weled teyrnas Dduw." 1 Corinthiaid 15:50. Dywedodd Paul wrth y Corinthiaid “Ni all cig a gwaed [dynion marwol] etifeddu teyrnas Dduw; ac nid yw llygredd yn etifeddu anllygredigaeth.” Tra bod gennym gorff corfforol, cnawd-a-gwaed, gallwn fod yn etifeddion y Deyrnas, ond ni allwn fynd i mewn yn llawn i mewn i'r Deyrnas, ac ni allwn ei weld, nes inni ddod yn ysbryd - wedi cael corff gogoneddus wedi'i gyfansoddi gan ysbryd yn yr atgyfodiad. Mae hyn yn golygu, er y bydd y ddynoliaeth gyfan yn ddarostyngedig i'r Deyrnas y bydd Yeshua yn ei rheoli ar y ddaear, ni fyddant o reidrwydd yn rhan ohoni. Mathew 25:31-34 Pan ddaw Mab y Dyn yn ei ogoniant, a’r holl angylion sanctaidd gydag ef, yna bydd yn eistedd ar orsedd ei ogoniant. Bydd yr holl genhedloedd yn cael eu casglu ger ei fron ef, a bydd yn eu gwahanu oddi wrth ei gilydd, fel bugail yn rhannu ei ddefaid oddi wrth y geifr. A bydd yn gosod y defaid ar ei law dde, ond y geifr ar y chwith. Yna bydd y Brenin yn dweud wrth y rhai ar ei ddeheulaw, "Dewch, chwi fendigedig fy Nhad, etifeddwch y deyrnas a baratowyd i chwi er seiliad y byd." Bydd Teyrnas Dduw, felly, yn cael ei rheoli gan Yeshua, ac yn cael ei hetifeddu gan y rhai sydd wedi cael eu gogoneddu ar ôl cael eu hatgyfodi oddi wrth y meirw. Bydd y saint atgyfodedig—dinasyddion Teyrnas Dduw—yn llywodraethu gyda Yeshua dros weddill pobloedd y ddaear (Daniel 7:27; II Timotheus 2:12; Datguddiad 2:26-28; 5:9-10; 20:4-6; 22:5). Beth yw Cyfreithiau'r Deyrnas? Barnwyr 21:25. Yn syml, canllaw i bobl ei ddilyn yw’r gyfraith er mwyn sicrhau cydlyniant, cytundeb, a heddwch mewn perthnasoedd sifil a rhyngbersonol. Heb safon ddealladwy, wedi ei gorfodi gan lywodraethwr penarglwydd, byddai pawb yn gweithredu yn ol ei fympwy neu ei ddymuniad ei hun, ac ni chynhyrchid dim da na gwerth. Nid yw Teyrnas Dduw yn ddim gwahanol. 1 Corinthiaid 14:33 Nid yw Duw yn awdur dryswch. Bydd ei Deyrnas yn heddychlon ac yn drefnus oherwydd bydd pawb a ddaw i mewn iddi wedi ymostwng o’i wirfodd i gyfraith – gorchmynion – Duw. Ni fydd gan Dduw neb yn ei Deyrnas sy'n dangos, trwy batrwm ei fywyd, na fydd yn ufuddhau iddo. (Mathew 7:21-23; Hebreaid 10:26-31). Mae Datguddiad 12:17 yn disgrifio’r saint fel y rhai “sy’n cadw gorchmynion Duw ac sydd â thystiolaeth Yeshua. Mae'r ddau ddatganiad hyn - caru Duw a charu'ch cymydog fel eich hun - yn crynhoi'r pedwar gorchymyn cyntaf a'r chwe gorchymyn olaf yn y drefn honno. Nid yw'r gorchmynion ond yn diffinio ymhellach sut i garu Duw a charu dyn. Yr ydym yn caru Duw yn gyffredinol trwy ei osod Ef yn gyntaf, trwy beidio mabwysiadu cynnorthwyon corfforol i'w addoli, trwy beidio dwyn Ei enw yn ofer, a thrwy gadw y seithfed dydd Sabboth yn sanctaidd. Yr ydym yn caru dyn, yn gyffredinol, trwy anrhydeddu ein rhieni, nid llofruddio, peidio godineb, nid lladrata, nid dweud celwydd, ac nid trachwantu. Ioan 14:15 “Os ydych chi'n fy ngharu i, cadwch fy ngorchmynion. “Y sawl sydd â'm gorchmynion i ac sy'n eu cadw nhw, hwnnw sy'n fy ngharu i. A'r sawl sy'n fy ngharu i, bydd yn cael ei garu gan fy Nhad, a byddaf yn ei garu ac yn amlygu ei hun. Fi fy hun iddo." “Os bydd unrhyw un yn fy ngharu i, bydd yn cadw fy ngair; a bydd fy Nhad yn ei garu, a byddwn yn dod ato ac yn gwneud ein cartref gydag ef. Nid yw'r sawl nad yw'n fy ngharu i yn cadw fy ngeiriau; a'r gair yr ydych yn ei glywed nid fy eiddo i, ond y Tadau a'm hanfonodd i.” The Gospel (in Hebrew, the Besorah—"good news") that Yeshua (Jesus) personally preached is summarized in Mark 1:14–15: "Now after John was put in prison, Yeshua came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.'" While modern ears often hear "the gospel" defined exclusively as the mechanics of individual salvation (how to go to heaven when you die), Yeshua’s proclamation was broader, deeper, and grounded in the Hebrew Scriptures: the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Besorat HaMalkhut). He announced that the sovereign rule, authority, and covenant reign of the Creator had broken directly into this fallen world through the King Himself. 1. "The Time is Fulfilled" (Prophetic Arrival) When Yeshua said the time was fulfilled, He was speaking to a nation longing for deliverance. The prophecies of Daniel (the timeline of Daniel 9 and the stone that crushes the kingdoms of the world in Daniel 2) and Isaiah were reaching their climax. In Luke 4:18–19, He opened the scroll of Isaiah 61 in the Nazareth synagogue to define His mandate: Preaching good tidings to the poor and humble. Healing the brokenhearted. Proclaiming liberty to the captives and the opening of prison to those who are bound. Proclaiming the acceptable year of the Lord (the ultimate Jubilee release from sin and debt). 2. "The Kingdom of God is at Hand" (The Core Proclamation) Yeshua did not preach an abstract philosophy; He preached an active government and reign: Sovereignty over the Kingdom of Darkness: Every time Yeshua cast out a demon, healed incurable diseases, or raised the dead, He was demonstrating that Satan’s usurpation of the earth was being overthrown. "If I cast out demons by the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you" (Luke 11:20). The Nature of the King’s Reign: His kingdom was not of this worldly system—it did not advance through political intrigue, violence, or human armies (John 18:36). Instead, it advanced through truth, sacrificial love, humility, and righteousness. Present and Future: The Kingdom is already here in the hearts and walk of those who submit to the King, and it is yet to come in its physical, global fullness when the King returns to establish His reign in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14; Revelation 11:15). 3. "Repent" (Teshuvah — A Complete Return) To enter this Kingdom, the requirement was not a passive intellectual nod, but Teshuvah—a radical turning around: Turning from Self-Rule to God's Rule: Repentance means laying down rebellion, secular autonomy, and false religious pretenses. Internalizing the Commandments: In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7), Yeshua explained the constitution of the Kingdom. He made it clear that He did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, but to fill them to the full (Matthew 5:17). Kingdom repentance goes beyond external legalism to the motives of the heart—eradicating lust, hatred, pride, and greed. Fruit of Repentance: Just as John the Baptist warned, Yeshua taught that true repentance always bears observable, righteous fruit (Matthew 7:16–21). 4. "Believe in the Good News" (Covenant Faith & Allegiance) In the biblical mindset, "belief" (emunah) is not merely agreeing that God exists; it is active loyalty, trust, and obedience to the King: Trusting the Father’s Provision: Ceasing to worry about food, drink, and clothing like the nations do, but rather "seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). Trusting the Sacrifice of the Son: Yeshua taught that He came "not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). The Good News is that the King took the curse of our disobedience upon Himself at Passover, shedding His blood to ratify the New Covenant (Matthew 26:28). Victory Over the Grave: Yeshua promised that whoever hears His word and believes Him who sent Him has passed from death into life (John 5:24), anchored by His own resurrection as the firstfruits from the dead. 5. Summary: What Entering the Gospel Requires In Yeshua's own words, walking in the Gospel means: Denying Self: "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23). Obeying the Father's Will: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). Loving God and Neighbor: Loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:29–31). Proclaiming the Kingdom to All Nations: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). In short, the Gospel Yeshua taught is the royal proclamation that God’s reign has arrived in His Messiah, calling every human heart to turn away from sin, enter covenant peace with the Father through the Son, and live as an obedient citizen of His eternal Kingdom. In ancient kingdoms, when a king ascended his throne, he issued a royal charter or legal code declaring how his realm would be governed and what was expected of his subjects. In Matthew 5–7, Yeshua goes up on a mountain—echoing Moses ascending Mount Sinai—sits down in the posture of a reigning king and teacher, and delivers the manifesto of His newly inaugurated reign. The Sermon on the Mount is not an impractical, idealistic philosophy, nor is it a checklist to earn salvation. It is the living, practical constitution of the Kingdom of God, dictating the character, inner motives, ethics, and daily allegiance required of every citizen walking under Messiah's rule. 1. The Preamble: The Citizen’s Internal Disposition (The Beatitudes) Any national constitution opens with foundational values. Earthly empires prize military conquest, political clout, wealth, and self-assertion. Yeshua begins His charter (Matthew 5:3–12) by turning the world's value system completely upside down: Poor in Spirit: Recognizing total spiritual bankruptcy and utter dependence on the King. Mourning: Grieving over personal sin and the brokenness of a fallen world. Meekness: Possessing harnessed strength, patience, and humility rather than violent ambition. Hunger for Righteousness: Longing for God’s righteous order to prevail more than craving food or physical comfort. Mercy and Purity of Heart: Extending forgiveness and maintaining undivided, uncorrupted loyalty to God. Peacemaking: Actively reconciling estranged parties, reflecting the character of the Father. These are not separate groups of people receiving different rewards; together, they describe the temperament of the citizen who has laid down self-rule. 2. The Citizen’s Public Office: Salt and Light Citizens of the Kingdom do not live in isolationist enclaves; they are embedded directly into a decaying and dark culture (Matthew 5:13–16): Salt of the Earth: In antiquity, salt was a preservative that arrested rot and decay. Kingdom citizens preserve truth, hold back moral corruption, and bring spiritual flavor to the societies they inhabit. Light of the World: Light exposes danger and guides the traveler. Believers do not hide their allegiance to the King; their visible, tangible good works shine so that observers give glory directly to the Father. 3. The Legal Standard: Fulfilling and Internalizing the Law In Matthew 5:17–20, Yeshua establishes the legal framework of His government, dispelling any thought of lawlessness or anarchy: "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." To "fulfill" (pleroo) in Hebrew thought means to bring the law to its fullest intended meaning and expression, not to abolish it. Yeshua contrasts the superficial, external legalism of the religious establishment with the King’s internal standard. Through a series of six antitheses ("You have heard that it was said... but I say to you"), He shows that the King's law governs the thoughts and desires before an act is ever committed: Murder vs. Contempt: It is not enough to refrain from physical murder; harboring bitter anger, resentment, or hurling venomous insults (Raca) makes one liable to judgment (5:21–26). Adultery vs. Lust: Purity is not just refraining from physical unfaithfulness; looking with covetous intent is adultery in the heart (5:27–30). Oaths vs. Total Integrity: Citizens do not need elaborate religious oaths or legal loopholes to verify their truthfulness; their word is their bond—their "Yes" means yes, and their "No" means no (5:33–37). Retaliation vs. Sacrificial Generosity: Rather than demanding immediate vengeance ("an eye for an eye"), citizens yield personal rights, go the extra mile, and overcome evil with good (5:38–42). Love for Enemies: The ultimate test of Kingdom citizenship is reflecting the Father’s indiscriminate benevolence—praying for persecutors and blessing those who curse you (5:43–48). 4. Public Duty & Worship: Sincerity Over Religious Theater In Matthew 6, Yeshua regulates the three primary pillars of personal religious duty: giving, prayer, and fasting. In earthly systems, piety is often weaponized for social prestige. In the Kingdom, performance art is condemned: Secret Giving (Alms): Giving to the needy without sounding a trumpet or announcing tax write-offs; the left hand does not know what the right is doing. Secret Prayer: Communing behind closed doors with the Father, rather than reciting vain, repetitive words to impress bystanders. He provides the Model Prayer (the Lord's Prayer), teaching citizens to align their desires with the Father’s name, His kingdom coming, and His will being done on earth. Secret Fasting: Anointing the head and washing the face so that the physical affliction of fasting is unseen by men, directed only to the Father who sees in secret. 5. The Economic System: Trust, Not Striving Every kingdom has an economy. The economy of the world is driven by fear, scarcity, hoarding, and status anxiety. The Kingdom of God operates on radical faith in divine provision (Matthew 6:19–34): Currency: True wealth is not stored in physical barns, bank vaults, or commodities where moth and rust destroy; it is stored in heaven through generous, righteous living. Singular Focus: A servant cannot serve two masters. You cannot pledge allegiance to the Creator while serving Mammon (wealth/money). Freedom from Worry: Citizens do not sweat and panic over daily bread or clothing like the pagans do. The King feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field. The citizen's sole operational directive is: "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33) 6. Relational Protocol: Righteous Discernment Without Self-Righteous Condemnation In Matthew 7:1–12, Yeshua sets the rules for how citizens treat one another: The Spec and the Log: Before attempting to perform delicate eye surgery on a brother’s fault, remove the massive log of blind self-righteousness from your own eye. Holy Discernment: While judgment is warned against, discernment is commanded—do not cast pearls before swine or give what is sacred to dogs. Persistent Petitions: Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, trusting that the Father gives good gifts to His children. The Royal Rule (The Golden Rule): "Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 7:12) 7. The Ratification: Hearing vs. Doing A constitution is useless if it is merely read and debated rather than obeyed. Yeshua concludes His address with four sobering warnings demanding personal allegiance: Two Gates: The wide, crowded gate leading to destruction versus the narrow, difficult gate leading to life (7:13–14). Two Trees: True prophets and false prophets, known not by their charisma or titles, but by their actual fruit (7:15–20). Two Confessions: Warning that crying "Lord, Lord" or performing signs in His name is worthless if one practices lawlessness (anomia). Only those who do the will of the Father will enter (7:21–23). Two Foundations: The sermon ends with a dramatic builder’s test. The person who hears these words and builds on them is a wise man who digs deep and anchors his house on the solid bedrock. When the storms, floods, and winds beat against that life, it stands firm. The person who hears and does not obey builds on shifting sand—and great is the fall of it (7:24–27). When Yeshua concluded, the crowds were astonished. He did not quote human traditions or cite precedent like the scribes; He spoke as the Lawgiver and King Himself, laying down the permanent, unalterable rule of life for all who call Him Lord.
