God’s Promises to Those Who Keep His Commands
4

Throughout Scripture, the Father establishes explicit promises of life, blessing, protection, and intimacy for those who hear His voice and faithfully guard His commandments.
1. Blessings in Every Area of Life (Deuteronomy 28:1–14)
Comprehensive Provision: God promises that if you diligently obey His voice and observe His commandments, blessings will overtake you in the city, in the field, in the fruit of your body, and in your daily work.
Victory and Protection: Enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before your face—coming out against you one way and fleeing before you seven ways (Deuteronomy 28:7).
A Set-Apart People: You will be established as a holy people to Him, and all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord (Deuteronomy 28:9–10).
2. Prayers Heard and Answered (1 John 3:22 & Proverbs 15:29)
Boldness in Prayer: In direct contrast to Proverbs 28:9, Scripture promises that obedience opens the ear of God: "And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight" (1 John 3:22).
The Lord’s Delight: "The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight" (Proverbs 15:8).
3. Covenant Mercy for Generations (Exodus 20:6 & Psalm 103:17–18)
Thousand Generations of Chesed: In the Ten Commandments, God declares that He shows steadfast love (chesed) "to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments" (Exodus 20:6).
Generational Legacy: "The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them" (Psalm 103:17–18).
4. Intimacy and Dwelling with Yeshua and the Father (John 14:21–23)
Personal Revelation: Yeshua promised, "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him" (John 14:21).
A Living Abode: "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him" (John 14:23).
5. Peace, Long Life, and Eternal Inheritance (Psalm 119:165 & Revelation 22:14)
Great Peace (Shalom): "Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble" (Psalm 119:165).
Access to the Tree of Life: "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city" (Revelation 22:14).
